About Morsels Music

Music has always been a big part of my life, from being obsessed with my Mum’s Beatles records and family singalongs to Cat Stevens in the car, to buying an early CD player with the proceeds of my first job and starting the slippery slope into audiophilia with a Pioneer A400 amp for my 18th birthday. Then the collecting started in earnest…

My musical loves are many and varied. I discovered Pink Floyd at 14, and saw David Gilmour play twice in New York in 2016 (and Roger Waters here a few times). I camped overnight for Pet Shop Boys tickets at the Perth Entertainment Centre in 1994, a much-missed venue where I saw Radiohead, Oasis, Depeche Mode, and R.E.M. (twice).

I’m old enough to have seen Blur at Metro City, and Coldplay and Lily Allen at the Big Day Out. I saw David Gray four times on his recent tour. And yes, I listen to Taylor Swift (although wouldn’t call myself a Swiftie).

I’ve wanted to start this account for a while to share my thoughts, reviews, hi-fi tips, and addiction to reissues, remasters and anything limited edition. Hopefully I have something worthwhile to say.

Feel free to get in touch, I’d love to connect with other fans, enthusiasts and collectors.
